This film depicts an everyday situation in which sexualized violence can occur. College parties can be dangerous, so we have chosen to highlight the actions of partygoers who successfully prevent and diffuse violent situations. This video intends to inform its audience about the ways that they can prevent harm and support would-be victims.

This project came about through a Social Change Digital Production class at Humboldt State University, and was a combined effort by both Film and Environmental Studies undergraduates.

I'm a 21-year-old Environmental Studies (ENST) with an emphasis in media production at Humboldt State University.I am involved in the Critical Animal Studies Club and ENST events on campus. We study the production of power, normative behaviors, women's geographies of fear, and the various devastating impacts of the structural force of patriarchy, which made me aware of issues like sexualized violence. I really hope this project reaches those who have been privileged not to dwell on these kinds of issues, people such as myself. Also, the partygoers, fraternity and sorority members, all college students really, must grasp the violence that occurs after the kinds of situations depicted in this video.

I am 24 years old, a Film Major, and a Psychology Minor at Humboldt State University. I am part of the Illustration club as well. I wanted to get involved in this project because a question was posed to me about sexual assault: what can you do if you see something? There was no easy answer so I decided to find it and convey this messege to those, like myself, who had no idea what to do in a situation similar to one depicted in the video. Circumstances vary, but the video intends to get you, the observer, to act.

Our production group recieved feedback from and colaborated with the Campus Advocate Team, specifically Title IX and the Rape Crisis Response Team. This project hopes to reach out to incoming and current HSU students who would be uncertain or inexperienced in such situations.

I am a 22-year-old Enviromental Studies Major with an enphasis in Media Production at Humboldt State University. I'm interested in Community Outreach, Media Networking, Photography, Architecture, & Cinematography. I was interested in being a part of this project because I wanted to figure out a successful way of demonstrating to our audience how they could participate and take charge of various encounters that may occur in many settings. What I hope this project will become is a continuous conversation on other college grounds for more students around the world to become empowered and influence others about their ability to prevent unethical actions from occurring.

I'm a 20-year-old Film major with an emphasis in Cinematography going to Humboldt State University. My interests include movies and music. I wanted to work on this project because I think that everyone should know that they can do something to help others, even if they aren't directly in the situation. I hope this project will make its way to the school's website to help students understand what they can do when they feel another person is in an uncomfortable position.

Im a 21-year-old Junior in the Environmental Studies (ENST) Program with an enphasis in Media Production at Humboldt State University. I am involved with various campus communities such as the Learning Center and have worked for a professor on her dissability studies book.

Social Justice, or the lack thereof, is an incredibly important topic in many ENST classes. This Project is extremely important for the health and wellbeing of EVERYONE. Understanding that you can make a difference in someones life by preventing such a traumatic experience can empower people to take action.
